Memorial Bridge. 

Going through a box of old audio tapes, I came across this WHFS spot from 1999 hyping the release of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. I never had higher expectations for a movie than I did for this one. NEVER. 

To say I was disappointed/ crushed/ confused/ … would be an understatement. Unlike everyone who blames this mostly on Jar Jar Binks, It’s Jake Lloyd’s portrayal of little Anakin that makes me want to repeatedly punch myself in the face. But that’s just me. 

Video I shot from this Sundays “Hole”/Courtney Love show at the 9:30 club. The audio is pretty bad, but then again, so was the majority of the show. Zing!

Going to this tonight with Karl and Jami. 

I’ve only seen the first episode (five years ago), so a series catch up of some sort would be great. 

It’s been over a year now and Sirius still displays Backspin as “Pop2k”.
